New regulations have been enforced to encourage responsible gambling. One of these is a weekly deposit limit of SEK 5,000. Below, players can find FAQs about the issue. Remember, always be in control.
New regulations are being introduced in Sweden on the 2 July, to help combat the effects of COVID-19.
The deposit limit will work on a rolling basis.
If you deposit SEK 2,000 on 4 July and a further SEK 3,000 on 6 July, you would be allowed to deposit a further SEK 2,000 on the 11 July. The deposit limit always looks back over the past 7 days, to determine what amount has been deposited.
If you set yourself a higher limit, this will be over-ridden when you try and deposit. When depositing funds, the SEK 5,000 will always take precedence.
When you reach any of the Time Limits which you have put in place, you will be logged out of your account as soon as your current Poker hand or Casino game finishes. You will be unable to log in again until the affected day, week or month has elapsed.
The Time Limits that you set on your account must cover all gaming activity.
If you reach your limit whilst playing a Tournament, you will be sat out for the remainder of the Tournament. You will still receive any prize money based on your finishing position. Buy-ins will not be refunded if you reach your time limit during a tournament and are unable to complete it.
If you increase any of your Time Limits, they will not come into force until the start of the following calendar month.
If you decrease any of your Time Limits, they will come into force immediately.
Session limits reset at midnight each day.
To ensure that no customers can ever exceed the deposit limit, there may be occasions when deposits will be restricted to slightly lower than SEK 5,000 to ensure full compliance with the new regulations.
No – the SEK 5,000 limit applies to your account activity in total.
