Showtime Hold’em Poker

Showtime Hold’em is similar to the globally popular game of Texas Hold’em, but with one crucial difference: all folded cards are left face-up for the duration of the hand.

The result is more information available to each player, leading to new possibilities and greater depth of strategy. Plus, who hasn’t wondered what cards their opponent folded to a big bet on the river? With Showtime Hold’em, you’ll find out!

If you’ve played Texas Hold’em before, or seen it on TV, the rules of Showtime Hold’em are easy to pick up.

The Rules of Showtime Hold’em

Traditional Texas Hold’em sees players each receive two private cards (known as ‘hole cards’) that belong to them alone, with five community cards then dealt face-up – known as the ‘board’. All players in the hand use these shared community cards, combined with their own hole cards, to each make their best possible five-card poker hand.

What makes Showtime Hold’em different, is that every card folded by any player remains face-up and visible for the rest of the hand. This includes all cards folded pre- and post-flop.

Showtime Hold’em is played as a No Limit game.
