Fintan Hand

Fintan Hand

From poker dealer to poker player, it didn’t take Fintan Hand long to realize he could make more money on the other side of the table. Since then, the Irish entertainer has racked up a huge following on Twitch, and has risen through the ranks to become a member of PokerStars Team Pro.

His ties with Team Pro can be traced back to the early days of his playing career, back when he was mentored by his friend Parker Talbot. “I probably owe Parker more than anyone else in the poker community,” said Fintan.

“He was always extremely generous with his time, he coached me, he previously backed me. He definitely played the biggest role in me getting to where I am out of all the people I’ve been close to in poker. If it wasn’t for Parker and that group of people, I never would have been playing full time.”

After joining Team Pro, Fintan then went on to develop a successful Twitch stream partnership with teammate Ben Spragg, and since then his career and profile have gone from strength to strength.

Brimming with ideas to make streaming poker more fun and more interactive, he wants to see even more people get involved in the game and sees streaming as one of the main ways to connect with other poker fans.

Fintan’s Twitch streams have seen some magical moments captured on camera, particularly his three Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) title wins in consecutive years between 2020 and 2022. His victory in 2021 happened in dramatic fashion, with a local power cut in his then-home of Malta striking seconds after he won the final pot.

Fintan plays online poker exclusively at PokerStars, where he plays under the username ‘easywithaces’.
